While Kalabhavan Mani may not be present in physical form to entertain us anymore, his memories will live on through his films. We list out his five best performances.

Petty thief Gopi steals a chain, and in order to escape a police inspector, drops it in Veena's bag. Later, he tries to take it from her, but the chain is no longer there. He becomes a part of her plan to stop her boyfriend from marrying a rich tycoon's daughter. Vettam is a comedy-drama loosely based on the movies French Kiss, My Best Friends Wedding, Bellboy and Pyaar To Hona Hi Thaa. Plot: Gopalakrishnan (Dileep) is a small thief who has stolen a precious chain and is on the run, with a police officer (Radha Ravi Radha Ravi is a populous actor cum producer in the Read More.) on his trail.

Kalabhavan Mani was a man of many talents. Be it acting, singing, stand-up comedy or even philanthropy, Mani aced each and every role he performed with great panache. His tragic death has robbed the nation of one of its most multi-talented and versatile actors. While he may not be present in physical form to entertain us anymore, his memories will live on through his films. We list out his five best performances. Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum: If you wish to understand the brilliance of Mani the actor, watch the song Chanthupottum from this movie. Mani played the role of a visually impaired man with near precision in this award winning film. For the entire film, he kept his two black corneas hidden under his eyelids and moved his blank eyes aimlessly with such great perfection. Karumadikkuttan: As adept as he was at comedy, Mani was also an expert at making viewers cry. His performance in this movie as an adult with the intelligence of a child tugged at every emotional heartstring. The scene where a dog mauls him made for a compelling watch. Chotta Mumbai: Villainy was something that Mani tried his hand at late in his career. And he flourished in his negative avatar as well. His role as the intimidating and deplorably corrupt police inspector Nateshan in Chotta Mumbai won him rave reviews.

Gemini: Mani was as popular in Tamil Nadu as he was in Kerala. He acted in a string of Tamil films and Gemini was one of his most popular ones. The movie, which saw Mani play the role of a don, became popular for his special mimicry performance wherein he imitated different animals.

While it is difficult to pick his best performance in a comic role as he had many to his credit, his best ones were films where he acted with Jayaram and Suresh Gopi (Summer in Bethlehem) and Dileep (Vettam).

Bhavna Pani is an Indian actress - model and a dancer. Pani has been a dancer since age of six. She is trained in Odissi and Kathak by the legends – Kelucharan Mohapatra and Birju Maharaj.[1] She has also learned Contemporary Modern dance at the Terrence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company and trained in Jazz and Ballet.

She has acted in many commercial ads and films in Bollywood. One of her most notable roles was in director Priyadarshan's Malayalam comedy film Vettam (2004). She is a theatre personality who has performed in several plays with Motley (Naseeruddin Shah) and QTP (Quasar Thakore Padamsee)

Career[edit]

Bhavna Pani was born and brought up in Mumbai, India.[1] She is the daughter of ad filmmaker Uday Shankar Pani.[2] She has a younger sister Devna Pani who is a fashion designer and actress.[3] She did her BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Mithibai College, Mumbai.[2]

She started her career with her first Bollywood film Tere Liye, at the age of 17.[1][4] Since then, she has acted in many films including a Telugu film named Ninu Chudaka Nenundalenu in 2002. She has also expressed that she likes to do more romantic comedy films.
